Made alongside Jenni Murison at Glyndebourne Opera for the 2021 Festival production Il Turco in Italia, directed by Mariame Clément and designed by Julia Hansen.
Baseboard of 6mm ply, blocked up with sheet polystyrene. Working door hinges fixed and built around. This was then shaped and topped with strips of 6mm ply for strength. Coated in foam coat and sanded to smooth finish. Spray painted with air guns and hand-painted detail
This side of a classic red Fiat 500 was made at a maximum thickness of 50mm to allow for tracking onto stage through a specific slot in the set walls.
