Hello

I’m Ellen, a Prop Modeller based near London.

I am highly experienced in working with the large variety of materials and techniques to the highest standards required by prestigious production environments. I take pleasure in nurturing talent and team management positions and make a good interdepartmental liaison when needed.

I am currently working on an upcoming film for Lionsgate having recently finished working on Venom: The Last Dance for Sony Pictures.

In 2023 I completed six months on Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire for Columbia Pictures where I produced a new set of ghost traps and developed the new wrist blaster, along with a number of other hero props. I was also on stand-by during shoots to assist the cast with the various equipment.

Previously I have been a modeller on Back In Action for Netflix, Loki season two for Disney Marvel, Mickey 17 for Warner Brothers, Fast X for Universal Pictures, Kraven the Hunter for Sony Pictures and the series Citadel for Amazon Studios. Prior to that I was a prop maker at Glyndebourne Opera for six years, during which time I created assets for more than a dozen productions. Occasionally I am available for direct commissions and have created pieces for many entities including The National Theatre and the BBC. I am also a professional illustrator.

I trained in Technical Theatre and Stage Management specialising in Prop Making at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and have a First Class Honours degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London. I had previously worked as a bespoke picture framer and an actor in both professional and amateur theatre.
